Trieste Saxophone Orchestra Curriculum

The "TriesteSaxophoneOrchestra" is born as an evolution of the intense artistic experience turning point since 2003 of the “Ensemble di Saxofoni di Trieste.

A group that was founded under the leadership of Massimiliano Donninelli, bringing together professionals in their best students from the School of Saxophone from the First and Second cycle Diploma at the G. Tartini Conservatory in Trieste and from the Masters and Summer courses held in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom.     

Immediatly plays an intense concert activity under the demonstrations Musica-Summer 2003 (Villa Manin, San Vito al Tagliamento) coordinated by the Regional Foundation for the spectacle of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.  Performs at the 25th anniversary of the founding of SISSA, for the celebrations of the centenary of the Conservatory "G. Tartini" ,  participation in the 14th World Saxophone Congress held in Ljubljana in July 2006,  performs at “Progetto Mikrokosmos – Verona” .    

It is a group which can range from a repertoire of original music for young authors to arrangements and transcriptions of compositions from different periods in the history of music, from instrumental to Rinascimento Opera arias to the best classic Swing Era at the with brilliant music of the most beautiful classic Cartoons of all time.
