The PrismaEnsemble born founded in 2004 by Conductor and Composer Massimiliano Donninelli.
The group begins during the celebrations of the centenary of the birth of Goffredo Petrassi, concert held in Trieste at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini. Subsequently, the PrismaEnsemble, under the conducting of Massimiliano Donninelli, is invited to give the opening concert of events for the international studies conference on the centenary of the birth of Luigi Dallapiccola at the birthplace of the Maestro, Pazin in Istria, a concert wanted by prestigious institutions such as Università Popolare of Trieste, Famiglia Pisinota, Italian Community of Pazin Regione FVG.
In 2005 the group is the protagonist of the play "The young shephered and the Daughter of the King" stage business for actors, Theater of Shadows and instrumental ensemble in the stage version of Massimiliano Donninelli from the homonymous tale by Giacomo Scotti. Stage Director Angelo Mammetti, music by Massimiliano Donninelli, with actors Mariella Terragni, Maurizio Repetto, Angelo Mammetti, Roberto Leopardi. The show will be replicated in several cities of Istria in the subsequents two years.
At the same time the activity of the group, develops its own projects such as AAJW - Alpe-Adria Jazz Workshop and "Die Kinder Symphony". AAJW is a festival with a section aimed specifically at young musicians, since the first editions turned out to be one of the most innovative jazz music festivals of the Alps-Adriatic and Central Europe, is supported by Municipality of Trieste, the School of Music 55, the Province of Trieste, Kulturni Dom Prosecco. With the support of the Welfare and Tourism Department of the Regon FVG was created the event "Die Kinder Symphony," a concert performance in which the symphonies of Leopold Mozart and Carl Reinecke become the protagonists of a magical evening dedicated to the childrens.
PrismaEnsemble stands out for its dynamic design, for his constant presence and widespread in the artistic, production and divulgation of music and culture.
