Project Summary
The Conservatories of music of Udine and Trieste have a combined project for the production and divulgation of contemporary music in our region. This project was among the winners of the notice issued by the Friuli Venezia Giulia and is already in operation as regards the first step, the creation of new compositions by some students and alumni of the two Conservatories. The second part concerns the preparation of the pieces, which will be presented in a series of concerts in various locations throughout, along with works by some of the authors most representative of the historical region (Dallapiccola, Busoni, Montico, Kogoj). All works will be engraved on Compact Disc (or DVD). The work begins with the early sessions of testing, between late November and early December 2009, still continue in January with the evidence while the concerts will be distributed in late February and 22 April. Envisaged the formation of three instrumental groups: one internal and one extended to their respective Conservatories, including students of both institutions. For the creation of such ensembles each conservatory is organizing a field selectable open to all students enrolled in the advanced course for winds, and the middle and upper for strings, percussion and keyboards (piano and accordion) and to graduate no earlier than the year academic year 2007/2008. students interested in participating in the project will present a free program of up to 20 minutes. and desirable to run at least one work from the repertory is modern (900 historical) or contemporary. For the Conservatory of Trieste selections are open for the following instruments: flute, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, piano, accordion, percussion, violin, viola, cello and double bass. For the Conservatory of Udine selections are open for the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, harp, percussion, violin, viola, cello and double bass.

The hearings will be held in Trieste, November 10 to 12, Udine 18 to 20 November 2009.
